Originally started from 'Katch'ma Drift', then gigged in Torino area and mountain festivals, later become 'The Magic Cell' and moved to Pisa, Toscana, the psych-rock trio driven by Oliver D'Adda's voice and drums, Marco Varvello's bass and synths and Andrea Caruso's guitars worked on PANGEA Ep as a first work made of three original tracks, in which you can find a clear starting point in crossover rock of late Nineties, and a tribute paid to the great artists that preceded: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Rage Against The Machine's influence is present along the different tunes, as well as the attempt of include those references into contemporary songs, with use of beat-boxing, rap and modern production under the experienced guidance of Sergio Taglioni recording and producing facilities at StudioLab, Cascina (PI). To him and to his unconditioned love for music the album is dedicated.
