Our next EP comes from the German born, Jamaican raised DJ and producer Melanie Ribbe. Not new on the scene, Ribbe has been known for her distinctive sets since 2015 in Ibiza and worldwide. After honing her skills at the London Academy of Music Production, has since become a recurrent name in well-known labels such as Moon Harbour, Saved or VIVa MuSIC and has opened her own label Agape Muzik. Regarding her Roush debut, we can feel that her sound converges between the minimal grooves of techno and the muscular tech-house as she shows us on title cut ‘Verghona’, a vocal in Portuguese inspired upon living in Brazil. Next up, ‘You Want Me’ is a more deep composition where we can find a diva voice that gives an excellent touch to the EP. A bouncy two-notes bassline and some acid drops gives a nice low-end.
