Aleppo is the second single from Los Drama Kings' debut LP, Tragedia. The song talks about the human horror behind contemporary armed conflicts, in particular the war in Syria, narrated by an anonymous soldier. Thoughts of confusion, fear and despair dominate the mind of the protagonist, who is counting the days until the end of his war. Between alarms and noises of combat, the song starts with a frenetic and at the same time danceable rhythm inspired by post-punk. Languid vocal and guitar phrases are intercalated until they reach a chorus loaded with drama and horror, to give way to a furious solo and a violent closing.
