Le Pouche à Alger EP

909 Connection comes back in 2020 with a brand new EP, and continues its deep exploration of electronic music with a 4-tracker by one of its member: Naconda, who brings his rich and mellow sounds palette for a pretty special release.

The journey begins gently with ‘Mid’, a summery downtempo ballad, where Naconda comes back to his roots with his guitar, blending sensual riffs with a funky and punchy as hell bassline. Then comes ‘Thérèse Antithèse Synthèse’, a jazz-infused house jam, topped with the rich flute of one of Naconda’s mate, Rick P, coming straight out of Leamington Spa (UK) where he has been leaving for the past few months.
The track ‘Bongo Bon Gars’ is the result of a close collaboration between HLB (La Fourmilière, Le Pouls à 120 - Toulouse, France) and Naconda, where lush pad and playful bass sounds come together with the classic TR-909 house groove, making an ace combination that is most likely going to rock some dancefloors. To wrap things up, organic percussions and sax samples are melted together in ‘Le Pouche à Alger’, the eponym track of this beauty of an EP.

Well-trained guitarist, Naconda gathers his multiple influences, from Jazz to Blues or House, and puts his first full EP, making it the 3rd release of Toulouse based crew and label 909 Connection.
