We are excited to welcome STUPR to the Variant crew, he has provided quite an amazing ep to start your year off with. Four incredible original tracks, of varying intensity and style. "Conspiracy Room" the name sake track of the release is remnant of that old Plastikman sound, when he was good, a real classy number. "Cind Montrol" is a banger, just 128 bpm, but the synth and bass roar, quite a malleable track, with fantastic progressions, would sound as good at 135 bpm pitched up and would certainly fill the floor. "Emotially Numb" does exactly what it says on the tin, numbs your senses and puts you in a trance then the synth creeps in. Then proceeds to ebb and flow with the tracks progression, a lot of thought has been put into this, like the first two, and you can hear it. Very tight production. Last but not least is "Panic" fills out the release. Subtle, yet effective, progressions throughout. All round this is one for the collection, a great collection of tracks from STUPR.
